Our Mission is to improve the future of Guatemalans living in poverty by providing young students with educational sponsorships and after school support, and provide adults with literacy and vocational training.
Our Vision is to empower Guatemalans to break out of the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient as a result of receiving an education.
With the help of generous donors and volunteers, we are able to offer educational resources and support to poor children and their families in the small town of San Antonio Aguas Caliente, a traditional Mayan pueblo near the city of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
We are well respected and accepted by the community and as a result we continue to get requests from families to place their children in our program. Limited by space and outside support, we look for creative ways to expand our program. YOU CAN HELP.
The program was founded in 2014 and is run by two dedicated individuals, Vicki Horsfield, Executive Director, from Canada and William Garcia, Assistant Director from Guatemala. Our organization is devoted to bringing hope to Guatemalans for a better future.
